Happy Dance!!

I finished the book!!!!!! Oh, I know there's a ton of editing to do, but that doesn't change it - I WROTE A BOOK - what a weird, but neat thought. Coming soon (like September) to an independent bookstore near you!

Anyway, I've spent the last month in front of my screen, and I'll be taking a short break to do laundry, reconnect with my family, shovel snow and take a nap. We'll return you to your regularly scheduled blog posts when I'm done with a couple of days of happy dancing!

The only thing I ever wrote of any length was a Master's thesis and that was 18 years ago. Still, I understand the thrill of having completed something that involved and complex. Good job!

Congratulations!

You'll let us know the pub & final title when it's ready, so we can ask our local bookstores to order it, right?

I remember when I finished my last final exam of my first semester in Rochester, NY, freshman year. I walked the campus (UofR) then went to dinner in the dining hall. New snow was everywhere (lake effect ofc.) and more was falling. For the first time in several weeks, I actually noticed the snow.... and the holiday lights in the student center and dining room. What a liberating feeling finishing that first semester was. Even the spaghetti tasted exotic.

Congratulations. I can't wait to read it!

Oh, congratulations!

I can't wait to see/read/distribute the book!

(And in the meantime, if you or New Society is looking for a work-at-home peak-oil-aware proofreader, you know where to find one...)

Happy Chanukah and boys' birthdays!

Oh, well done! But will it be available in September on our side of The Pond, or will we have to wait a bit longer?

I must say that I am eternally grateful for people like you who can see writing a book through the end. I am just as grateful that I don't have a book in me that I feel compelled to write. I've seen colleagues go through the process and have the greatest respect for people who can finish a book to publish. Of course, I'm another reader addicted to near daily checks on your blog. It will feel good to sit down with an actual book of your writing. I'll put in a request at my university bookstore when the time comes.

Happy Hanukkah/Chanukah/Chanukka/Hanukah

I must say Here Here to Richard's comment. I love your style of writing (in addition to finding your advice and gentle prodding helpful). I can't wait to read your book!

If is possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll, I thank. Good bye friend.
