Once, long ago, I wrote a list of 100 things you could do to get ready for peak oil, and it has had some airplay. Here's another hundred, or at least Part I of II.

The second part will be up later in the week.
The original list, if you haven't seen it is at www.ourvictoryathome.com

brilliant!
Ahoy Sharon,
I've been enjoying your Blog Postings VERY MUCH. I would like to ask permission to link to (or make reference to) your three postings on 100 Things You Can Do ..... as the Island Rover Foundation update our educational pages at: www.islandrover.org to cover much more on Global Climate Change and Peak Oil. Your writings are GREAT and are better than what our minds could produce. Keep up the GOOD WORK!
ONE COOKING QUESTION ..... In your first 100 Things...you say at #13. Eggs and greens are at their best in spring - dehydrated greens and cooked eggshells, ground up together add calcium and a host of other nutrients to flour, and you won't taste them. A GREAT IDEA but I personally have never heard of "COOKING EGG SHELLS" ....Please explain?!??!?!?! Does one Bake Them? What Temperature? How Long??? I want to try it!!! Thanks! Capt. Harold Arndt
